Airtel 4G LTE on smartphones launched in Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula
Airtel today launched its 4G LTE service on smartphones in Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula. The company had in February debuted its 4G services on mobile in Bangalore and had tied up with Apple to offers the 4G connectivity on iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S.
Likewise, this time as well the company has tied up with Apple to launch 4G on mobile in these areas. Airtel was already providing 4G LTE services in the region via 4G dongles and Wi-Fi base stations.
Apple iPhone 5S or iPhone 5C users can upgrade their existing SIM to a 4G SIM and choose from various 4G plan to use Airtel’s 4G network. The operator is also offering demos of the service in the company operated stores in Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula.
