Well here it is. Having teased us since February when photos of their video shoot first surfaced, DJ Khaled's monster new single with Lil Wayne, Chance The Rapper, Quavo, & Justin Bieber has finally arrived today called 'I'm The One.'
Following up his lead single 'Shining' with Jay Z & Beyonce, 'I'm The One' serves as the second offering from DJ Khaled's forthcoming 10th studio album Grateful, due out later this year. He released his last album, Major Key, in 2016.
On Instagram, he dedicated the video to his son, Asahd — who is listed as an executive producer of his new album and also appears on the single's artwork.
The video is filmed in an extravagant California mansion, the clip begins with Khaled and his son on an opulent beachfront while a woman rides around on a horse. He invites his all-star guest list over to "celebrate life success, and our blessings."
DJ Khaled sports his best floral beachwear shirt while Justin Bieber takes the opportunity to show off his washboard abs and new ultra blonde hairstyle which, unfortunately, instead of making him look like a cool punk-pop star (which we are guessing was the intended look) makes him looks like Ewan McGregor in Trainspotting (1987) when he was trying to portray a drug addict.
The lyrics are predictable and the video of the song gives you a strong sense of deja-vu (it reminds us of the notorious Jason Derulo song 'Wiggle Wiggle') but you know this is going to be the song that gets stuck in your head because it will be played again, and again on your friday night club outing.
Check out the star-studded Eif Rivera-directed video, but keep in mind, it is NSFW:
