As lazy days go, yesterday was definitely a 10! I commented on a few blogs, had a go at the online puzzles I like, watched the Indian cookery class and that was it. Nothing productive at all and I didn't even do any piano or Italian practice either. I've no idea why, but it's a new day and there are some 'must do without fail' task on the list for today.
For starters I have to accept the quote for the patio work and then play a quick game of financial musical chairs to move the money around to pay for it. I also need to change my booking at the local Records Office - I didn't get my first choice of date and the one I've been allocated doesn't work that well for me. The biggie is that I need to reorder my repeat prescriptions but they have to reviewed before a new prescription can be issued so I need to see my doctor, which is easier said than done. Last time I tried to get an appointment I waited in the telephone queue for over an hour and ended up getting cut off without speaking to anyone. It'll be interesting to see if the GP surgeries return to pre-pandemic arrangements now that the governments have relaxed all Covid restrictions, or whether the restricted access will continue.
The only other 'must do' is to catch up with the Italian and piano practices and there's also the nutrition class focusing on hungry hormones and cravings.
